Goals of Maintenance and Operation
 
1. Keeping proper work condition of a machine or equipment to grantee good performance and excellent out put.
2. Elimination of machine breakdowns. Very often a catastrophic breakdown will cause significant peripheral damage to the machine, greatly increasing the cost of the repair.
3. Increase the life span of a machine or equipment>
4. Maintain system operational capacity through reduced down time , significantly reducing the chance of a breakdown during operations, and to of critical machines. Ideally, the operating condition of all the machines should be optimal .
